between the Toscanian Coast and Corsica include seven islands – Elba, Giglio,
Giannutri, Capraia, Gorgona, Pianosa and Montecristo – all of which are
very different - with Elba being the largest. Giglio is a paradise for diving,
Giannutri`s lovely bays and Capraia of volcanic origin being nearest to Corsica.
The small islands of Gorgona and Pianosa must not being called at because they
house special prisons. The rocky and rough island of Montecristo is a protected
