San Pietro,
San Pietro is not far away from Sant` Antioco. A small island with a great history. Caloforte is the capitol of the island next to it and is named after the founder Carlo Emanuele III of Savoyen.Owing to its climate and the pleasant atmosphere, the island is not affected by mass tourism.

San Pietro is an appropriate starting point for a varied cruise that you should begin with a relaxed day by the sea. Here you still can experience the traditional tuna fishing.The island is well-known as a bird`s paradise. An island tour and a visit of the "Grotte di Mezzaluna" will be a successful trip. A few artificial lakes and countless salt lakes are making the rough countryside less severe.
