 Vinisce
is situated in a large, almost
windless, bay just 12 kilometres away from the city
of Trogir. Its eight hundred inhabitants spend their
days between church, the post office, the chemist's
shop and the many grocery shops before relaxing in the
town's cafés and restaurants in the evenings.
And the population does not increase by much even during
the high season because Vinisce is one of the last towns
on the coast of Dalmatia that has not really been discovered
by tourists.
Visitors can get even
further away from it all in the crystal-clear water
of the small bays in the area and enjoy the sun or
go snorkelling and observe the swarms of fish.
