Cesme
 Being situated at a sheltered port bay, this small and picturesque marina is about 80 kilometres west of Izmir and opposite the Greek island of Chios. Still today, the naturalness of a Turkish fishing village, surmounted by monumental Genoese castle buildings from the 15th century can be experienced. Beautiful and some fine sandy beaches as well as nearby thermal springs in the immediate environs are characterizing for Cesme as a seaside resort. There are a number of shops in the streets and original fish restaurants and Kahves (Turkish cafes) at the port and along the promenade. A pleasant change for the evenings offer a number of bars and discotheques.
