Turkey
– Get away from it all ...meet the orient!
Turkey
A land of fantastic contrasts, where occident
meets orient, where the ancient world competes with the modern world, where ethnic
groups (such as the Hethites, Persians, Macedonians, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans)
had come and gone. After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Ataturk founded the
Turkish Republic. Today, Turkey is one of the most popular destinations for water
sportsmen. The coastline between Cesme and Antalya offers more bays and islands
for anchoring, relaxing, lazing around and bathing than the summer has days for
vacation. You could cruise around in this area without ever having to anchor at
the same anchorage – there is always something new and different to be discovered.
Pleasant bathing temperature can already be expected in May until October. Modern
marinas and a very good infrastructure assure a supply without problems. Enjoy
the diversity of the area and be impressed by the people´s unadulterated
hospitality

Turkey
from A - Z Arrival:
We`d recommend to get to Turkey by plane. There are charter and scheduled flights
from all German airports to Izmir, Dalaman or Antalya. We are also prepared to
arrange your transport from the airport to the marina and vice versa. Here is
a tip for you if you would like to arrange the transport yourself: rent a car
from the airport to the marina – this is relatively cheap. There are, of
course, taxis at all airports at your disposal. But remember not to forget to
ask for the price beforehand. Board
pass: After having received the final payment, we will hand a board pass
over to you in which you will find the description of the marina as well as your
contact. Booking of Flights:
We will help you with pleasure with your bookings to Turkey. Business
Hours: Our office is open from Monday to Friday: 8 to 18 h Business

the check-in. Currency: The
Turkish currency is Turkish Lira (TRL). 1€ = 1.692 Turkish Lira It
is cheaper to exchange your money in Turkey because there the exchange rate is

at the base, either cash or individual euro cheques. It does not release the lessor

A difference in price with the same type of ship at the same bases do not mean
a difference in quality or maintenance. They only mean a difference in the calculations
of our partners. Entry Regulations:

Equipment: As we have different
partners, the equipment differs with different yachts. The detailed equipment
of the yachts of your choice are obtainable on request. Food

shortage is likely. It is best you try to get water whenever you get the opportunity.
Winds: The prevailing wind in the
Aegean Sea is the Meltemi which is stronger in the north (5-6 wind force) but
loses wind force south of Marmaris. The Meltemi usually starts later in the morning
and normally is over after sunset. But with more than wind force 6 its likely
to unabatedly blow throughout the night. The Meltemi emerges during May / June
with a wind force of 3-4 and reaches in July /August a wind force of 6-7. In September,
he calms down again. Between Kos and Bodrum the wind is blowing from a northern
